When our robot find out that the baby’s diaper is wet, she will blink her eyes, shout out loud (it helps as well for the visually challenged). At the same time, if you are watching movies downstairs or in your neighbor’s house, it will send you an email or text message.

In our project, when our phone receives a text message or email from the robot, it will alert you to change baby’s diaper and play a cute baby crying sound, downloaded from the Internet. Click here to hear or download it

User’s manual

USER’S MANUAL

The purpose of this device is to make you and your baby’s life easier. It alerts the parents that the baby’s diaper is wet.

HOW TO USE: You place the sensor in a baby’s diaper and it detects moisture from the baby’s diaper. The robot’s eyes blink and the robot’s mouth says what you program it to say.

Soldering kit

Since we’ll put LEDs as eyes for the robot, we’ll have to do soldering work. It is the process to put the wires and parts together in a permanent way.

A soldering kit from radio shack like the following will be used in our project:

It comes with soldering iron, some solder, and a mini stand to hold the iron.
